Costa Cruises launches Jewels of the Emirates Itinerary

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Tuesday, 2 September 2008

Costa Cruises, one of Europes leading cruise companies, has launched its popular Jewels of the Emirates itinerary for December 2008 through to April 2009, unveiling the exotic Eastern mystique of these lands, and taking advantage of the Middle Easts ideal weather for an extended summer holiday.

Costa Cruises is offering 7-night itineraries, in which guests can explore the lands of ancient kingdoms and unimagined treasures brought alive by old anecdotes and stories as told in the fabled One Thousand and One Nights.

Embarking from, and returning to, Dubai, the recently renovated Costa Victoria, and the elegant Costa Classica, will cruise the Persian Gulf, stopping in the fascinating ports of Muscat in Oman, Fujayrah and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

With two days docked in Dubai before the ship embarks and another two before the cruise concludes, guests are allowed four full days to explore this intriguing city by day and sleep aboard their ship by night, alleviating the hassles of checking in and out of a hotel, transferring luggage and other transport logistics.

Further extending Costas courtesy to families with children, those kids under 18 years old travelling with two adults can board the ship for free, paying just port charges.

Costa Cruises has also just launched its loyalty club - Costa Club - in the Asia Pacific region. Passengers onboard are automatically eligible to become members at no cost. Eight hundred points will be offered to passengers joining the above cruises, while each additional onboard consumption of US$60 will be rewarded with 40 points.
