Airbus
is to showcase the new A350 XWB cabin at this year's Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg/Germany (April 1-3, 2008) on its stand
located in Hall A3 (Stand 3D15). Visitors will be able to discover the attributes of the A350 XWB cabin interior in a new mock-up, displayed for the first
time at an exhibition.
Another highlight of Airbus' presence
at the show is the presentation of a new galley concept, developed in close cooperation with leading
airlines and caterers.
Visitors will also learn about the innovative, end-to-end solutions from Airbus for cabin upgrade services. Offering an efficient way to
enhance in-service aircraft cabins by integrating latest technologies and providing innovative engineering solutions, the competitiveness of
the airline's in-service fleets can be supported significantly. In addition, visitors will be able to personally experience the cabin benefits of
the overall Airbus aircraft families through audiovisual tools.
The A350 XWB
is Airbus' answer to Boeing's
787 Dreamliner. Its straight side-walls provide
more room at head and shoulder level compare to traditional aircraft. Combined with the optimized seat width, the A350 XWB cabin offers
superior comfort for long haul
flights on aircraft currently in its class. In addition, the larger, pivoting overhead bins enable passengers to easily store their luggage close to their seat.
Airbus offers a range of cabin services on the A350
XWB. Passengers will be able to connect their
personal IT devices, covering the full range of services. From the airline perspective, the choice in entertainment they will be able to offer theirpassengers can be broadened thanks to the concurrent provision of easy cabin control, common to all Airbus aircraft.
