Marco Polo Hotels appoints Regional Director of Sales in Beijing

Marco Polo Hotels has appointed Mr. Shawn Wang to the position of Regional Director of Sales based in the Beijing office.

Mr. Wang, a Chinese national, began his career in the hospitality industry with Marco Polo Xidan, Beijing as Sales Assistant Manager (Leisure) and moved on to work for the representative office of Wynn Macau in Beijing. Prior to rejoining Marco Polo Hotels, he was Senior Business Development Manager of Hotel Lisboa Macau Beijing representative office.

In his position as Regional Director of Sales, Beijing for Marco Polo Hotels, he will be responsible for all sales and account management of the corporate, travel agent, airlines and government accounts in the region. The office will also drive business to Marco Polo Parkside, Beijing and provide feedback on local and national marketing conditions to all Marco Polo hotels.

The Beijing office is the group’s first regional sales office in China serving the growing number of outbound Marco Polo customers within the north east part of China.
