Jetstar Asia celebrates 4th Birthday with 44,444 F(r)ee Seats Promotion

Having just received its 4th millionth passenger last Wednesday (22 October 2008), Jetstar Asia will commemorate its 4th year in Singapore on 13 December 2008. To celebrate the occasion, the airline is offering 44,444 free seats (excluding taxes, charges etc) to 11 of its destinations for bookings made at ilovejetstar.com between 28 October to 3 November 2008 for travel between 5 January to 30 June 2009.

Special fares starting from Sin$14.44 to Sin$44.44 and other promotions will also be for the taking. On top of that, there will be Sin$4,444 worth of complimentary hotel stays; to qualify for a full reimbursement of hotel accommodation, passengers simply have to book their hotel stays together with their free flights. The hotel bookings have to be done through the same website and are to coincide with the promotion and travel period of their free seats booking.

As part of the anniversary festivities, Jetstar Asia has partnered Spinelli Coffee to give away one free latte voucher and a Sin$44 Jetstar Asia voucher to 400 patrons of the coffee chain’s Change Alley branch when they recite a specially crafted birthday message for Jetstar Asia within a timeframe of 14 seconds. The top 3 fastest rattlers will walk away with splendid prizes – the first prize comprises of a pair of return tickets to Macau with 2 nights accommodation at Casa Real Hotel (inclusive of breakfast) and Sin$200 Harvey Norman voucher. A pair of return tickets to Ho Chi Minh City and Sin$150 Harvey Norman voucher will be presented to the second fastest contender while a pair of return tickets to Kuala Lumpur with 2 nights accommodation at Genting Highlands (inclusive of breakfast) and Sin$50 Harvey Norman voucher make up the third prize.

In addition, 40 members of the public and JetMail members stand to win 4 free tickets to Jetstar Asia’s destinations when they visit ilovejetstar.com and forward Jetstar Asia’s birthday greeting to their friends. The winners will be chosen based on the number of times they pass on the birthday message. Citibank Credit cardholders will be given priority to go about their flight bookings with Jetstar Asia during the first 2 days of the promotion (28 and 29 October 2008). All other MasterCard and Visa credit cards will be accepted for flight bookings from 30 October to 3 November 2008. As for hotel reservations, all credit cards are applicable for payment throughout the entire promotion period.
