Etihad Airways has appointed Dr. Salwa Al-Noaimi as the airline’s new
Vice President Recruitment.
Salwa will be responsible for the recruitment of new personnel to Etihad, especially in terms of selecting, interviewing and appointing UAE
nationals across the airline.
Salwa has 20 years
experience as a management professional relating to education and human resources gained from a number of
organisations including one of the ADNOC companies, the Petroleum Institute of Abu Dhabi, as well as various UAE government ministries and
organisations.
Etihad operates three Emiratisation streams which include the technical engineering development programme, graduate management
development programme and cadet pilot programme.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline continues to build its Emiratisation scheme which by the end of 2008 will boast more than 100 participants across
the cadet pilot, management trainee and technical engineering programmes.
