Horizon Air, the regional airline partner of US carrier Alaska Airlines, has introduced two new routes, linking key business centres with state
capitals in both California and Montana.
In California, Horizon has launched daily nonstop flights between San Jose, in the heart of the famous Silicon Valley technology region, and the
state capital of Sacramento.
And in Montana, the airline has launched daily flights between the capital, Helena, and the State’s largest city, the business centre of Billings.
The new flights are operated with 76-seat Bombardier Q400 turboprop aircraft, featuring 2 x 2
seating.
On both routes, the flights are timed to enable business travellers to make same day roundtrip journeys, without the need for an overnight stay.
The flight from San Jose to Sacramento departs at 9.30am daily, arriving in Sacramento at 10.10am, then continuing to another State capital,
Boise, Idaho. The return service departs Sacramento at 5.05pm, arriving in San Jose at 5.45pm.
In Montana, the new flight from Billings leaves at 7.00am daily, with a scheduled arrival time of 7.59am in Helena, while the return service departs
Helena at 5.30pm, arriving in Billings at 6.25pm.
Horizon Air serves 49 destinations in Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Baja California Sur (Mexico) and British
Columbia and Alberta (Canada).
Together, Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines serve 93 cities, and are subsidiaries of the Alaska Air Group Inc.
