China Airlines
is to launch direct charter flights to Palau from May 31 until August 31, 2008, in response to
the growing passenger demand.
A Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be used for the new Taipei-Palau passenger service, offering
a single-class cabin service. CAL will provide six to seven flights per month, during the summer.
The Republic of Palau is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean.
The natural beauty of the islands and the
surrounding seas are considered Palau’s main tourist attraction. Palau enjoys a tropical climate all year round, with an annual mean
temperature of 82 °F (27 °C). The average humidity over the course of the year is 82%, and although rain falls more frequently between July
and October, there is still lots of sunshine to enjoy.
