Cargo has been voted number one in “The Best Airline Cargo Service” category by the Federation of Asia Pacific
Airfreight Associations (FAPAA) comprising the National Airfreight Associations of Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Hong Kong, India,
Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand.
The FAPAA Award seeks to honour the best in the airfreight business as identified by the national airfreight associations through an annual
survey conducted by the global auditing firm of Ernst & Young.
Factors that were taken into consideration when the evaluations were made include uplift and delivery as committed, track and trace
capability, pre-shipment service, staff customer service and value-for-money service.
Besides its high standards of customer service, Singapore Airlines Cargo was also honored for its contributions to the Arts. An example,
the “Friend of Heritage Award” was given recently by the National Heritage Board of Singapore, in recognition of its sponsorship to carry
Greek masterpieces artifacts for the National Museum.
“The awards are testimony to Singapore Airlines Cargo’s commitment to our customers. I would like to thank them for giving us their stamp
of approval and look forward to their continued support” said Mr Tan Tiow Kor, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
