PIMEX 2008 to be held in Phuket from 4 to 7 December

After a successful relocation to Royal Phuket Marina last year, PIMEX 2008 will be held at the same venue from 4th to 7th December. Concurrent with the Phuket Kings Cup Regatta and other early season events increasing numbers of exhibitors and visitors are expected.

This time over 2000 square metres of air-conditioned exhibition hall will be available, overlooking and next to berthing for up to 40 boats.

23 yachts are already booked into the in-water display and RPM has just released an extension to Dock E to accommodate more boats. More than twenty companies have already indicated their attendance.

Phuket is the centre of Thailand's growing marine industry and the waterside venue is an ideal location for this marine and lifestyle show.

The marketing campaign began in June 2008 with advertising in major regional publications. Media partners include Asia Pacific Boating, China Boating, Luxury Properties, Asia Spa, CNN Traveller, Tiger Tales, Time Out Singapore, Millionaire Asia, and Phuket Gazette. Last year the show was featured prominently on CNN Mainsail and similar coverage is expected for this years show.
