The Stella Hospitality Group
has big plans for its Mantra brand of hotels aiming to build it into the country's largest 4 - 4.5 star
brand catering for both business and pleasure.
The
company is on target to meet its March 31 goal of integrating its Saville and Pacific International properties into the Mantra family,
creating a diverse group of more than 50 hotels, resorts and apartments with further expansion planned.
Stella Hospitality Group Chief Executive Officer Bob East said the rebranding is a direct response to rising customer need for a simplified
and streamlined business model to meet all accommodation requirements.
"Bringing the Saville and Pacific International properties into the Mantra family delivers guests a reliable and highly-recognisable brand for
all corporate, conference and leisure needs,'' Mr East said.
"Increased room inventory will translate to greater choice for customers, who will also enjoy the advantages of dealing with a "one stop
shop" in finding the right accommodation for every occasion.''
Mr East said the rebranding was a natural progression for Stella with Mantra, Saville and Pacific International having offered a very similar
product in leisure and CBD locations in the past.
The integration process will also see a small number of Saville and Pacific International hotels rebranded as BreakFree - Stella's 3-4 star,
self-contained apartment brand.
