One of Europe’s leading luxury hotels, the Park Hotel Weggis, is offering families a
three-day summer getaway on picturesque Lake Lucerne in the Swiss Alps
with prices from Euro 2,602.
The ‘Parc & Family’ promotion for adults with children includes a host of extras including daily buffet breakfast, a three-course pizza dinner
at the restaurant The Grape and four-course dinner at restaurant Sparks for the whole family.
Also included is an excursion to the summit of nearby Mount Rigi or a boat trip on Lake Lucerne, including packed lunch for the whole
family, plus a family ticket for another outing to the Swiss Museum of Transport and Communication in Lucerne, with its IMAX movie theatre.
Back at the
alpine resort in a lakeside park with its own private beach, families
can also enjoy three hours’ private use of a SPA
Cottage to share a Sparkling Bubble Bath.
Also complimentary are other recreational facilities such as mountain bikes, kickboards, canoes, billiards, table tennis, whipflipps and even
DVDs.
For families with younger children, Park Hotel Weggis
has a free day-time childminder service throughout July and August.
On offer until September 30 at the resort near Zurich, the three-night ‘Parc & Family’ package for two adults and a child up to 16 years is
priced at Euro 2,602 with accommodation in a Mark Twain Suite and Euro 4,846 in a deluxe Adara Two-Bedroom Suite, with stunning views
of the mountains and lake from a private terraces.
A supplement of Euro 107 is payable per additional child up to 16 years for the three nights, with other room categories available on
request.
The historic 5-star, Relais & Châteaux hotel which has been immaculately restored and extended in a multi-million dollar renovation, is one
of Europe’s most outstanding luxury hotels.
A new wing with 10
new Adara Suites, complements the 43 original rooms and suites of the hotel. Throughout, the art
nouveau-style hotel incorporates features by leading international designers including Philippe Starck lighting, Murano glass, Molteni
furniture and Versace tableware.

luxury resort is also renowned for its newly established ‘Sparkling Wellness &

rates are based on a per guest basis and include service and VAT but exclude tourist tax of Euro 2.50 (CHF 4.00) for the period of 1 April – 15
October 2008, and Euro 1.60 (CHF 2.50) for the period of 16 October – 31 March 2009.
