Jumeirah Group appoints Sales Reps in South America

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Thursday, 18 September 2008

Jumeirah has appointed Personal Hotel Consulting (PHC) and Hotel International Partners (HIP) to head up its sales efforts in South America.

Based in Buenos Aires and Sao Paolo respectively, PHC and HIP are independent companies providing a full range of sales and marketing services for luxury class hotels and resorts around the world, and have been in the market for 10 years.

PHC and HIP will focus on positioning the Jumeirah brand and execute Jumeirah’s sales efforts towards meeting planners and incentive companies, as well as groups representing leisure and corporate travellers in primary markets in South America.

With five-star hotels and resorts in Dubai, London, New York – and soon in Shanghai – Jumeirah is turning its attention to the South American market. The group has recently been appointed to manage a luxury lifestyle resort dedicated to polo and equestrian sports, located in Argentina. The Jumeirah Culu Culu Polo Resort will be located in Lobos, a 30-minute ride from Argentina’s Ezeiza International Airport and just one hour away from Buenos Aires.

Apo Demirtas, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Jumeirah, said, “We have identified the Americas as one of our key geographical growth areas. Some of our properties, such as the Burj Al Arab, the world’s most luxurious hotel, are well known across South America; our partnership with PHC and HIP will now help us in spreading our promise to Stay Different™ in dynamic markets such as Argentina and Brazil.”
