Vatulele Island Resort,
managed by Six Senses Resorts & Spas, has introduced new luxury pool villa
bures to the iconic, award-winning property in Fiji. The resort will
also be formally re-launched as a Six Senses Hideaway towards the end of 2008.
The stunning Deluxe Beach Bures feature a private pool
measuring 8 metres x 2.5 metres with vistas toward the ocean and air-conditioning. All
bures at Vatulele, including the pool villas, will feature an array of additional personal
comforts, including new furnishings and fabrics, flat screen TV, DVD player, sound system, telephone and a well-stocked
private wine fridge.
Several other facilities and services have been upgraded
to enhance the guest experience. Creative dining options include the gourmet a la carte
menu at the Dining Room offering local Pacific Rim cuisine using fresh ingredients
sourced from the resorts own organic garden. A newly refurbished bar provides an ideal spot for guests to enjoy a
cocktail or healthy juice before or after dinner. Guests can also experience romantic
dining on the resorts private one-kilometre beach or a picnic on a nearby island. The
resorts well-stocked wine cellar is also a favourite for a private dining experience.
Located on a spectacular island of the Fiji group in the
heart of the South Pacific, Vatulele Island Resort is a 25-minute light-aircraft flight from
Nadi International Airport. Set back from a stunning stretch of white sand beach, 17 bures offer
generous personal space with natural architecture. At either end of the resorts beach are two oversized luxury villas,
The Point and Vale Viqi. Vatulele also has a PADI Golden Palm dive facility and there
are 22 world-class diving sites surrounding the resort.
