markets,” says Chris Chen, Best Western Regional Marketing Services Manager.
“The Abacus BAR program not only helps the hotel manage its yield and maintain its product parity drive through all online
channels, it also ensures Abacus agent’s ability to offer its customer the best available product offered by the hotel within a single POS, without the need to
search through multiple channels. Abacus is continuously looking for ways to help travel agents stay relevant and bringing in more
relevant travel content to our agents will ensure new revenue source to our agents, hotel bookings being a basic add-on to air
tickets,” said Patrick Lai - Abacus’ Vice-President for North Asia and Content Marketing.
“This program will help to boost revenue to our hotel members at Best Western. With an increasing awareness and reliance of hotel
promotions and bookings on GDS, Best Western’s step to partner Abacus is another step to widen our network of distribution”
added Glenn de Souza, Vice President and head of Best Western International Asia office.
