United States based lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has signed a firm contract for the purchase of 23 Airbus A320 Family aircraft. With this
contract, the wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific LifeCorp will have ordered 68 A320 Family aircraft since March 2007 and will have 148 A320
Family aircraft in its portfolio.

Hannahs, ACG Group Managing Director and CEO said, “With this strategic decision, we have strengthened our long-term delivery stream of new aircraft which allows us to continue to meet the future
demand of our customer airlines worldwide with the most modern, fuel efficient and environmentally friendly aircraft.”
The
A320 Family includes the A318, A319, A320 and A321. Each aircraft
features fly by wire controls and all share a unique cockpit and
operational commonality across the range. The A320 Family also offers a
containerized cargo system, which is compatible with the world wide
standard wide-body system. Around 6,200 Airbus A320 Family aircraft have
been sold and more than 3,500 delivered to some 280 customers and
operators worldwide.
