The
luxurious Nam Hai Resort & Spa in Vietnam is enhancing its holistic
offerings by hosting a yoga workshop.
Led by accomplished North American instructor Ted McDonald, the seven-day retreat will take place
August 30-September 6 and September 6-13 and will offer specially developed cuisine, luxurious spa treatments, local cultural excursions and, of course, an array of rejuvenating classes.
“This is for like-minded, adventurous people who love the outdoors and want to nurture their soul through yoga and one-of-a-kind
experiences,” said McDonald, founder of Los Angeles-based Adventure Yoga Retreats. “The Nam Hai offers the perfect venue for such a
retreat because of its serenity, its service and its proximity to so many amazing sites.”
The wellness seminars will take place at various locations in the region as well as within the tranquil confines of The Nam Hai, which offers
lush landscaping, unobstructed views of the South China Sea and 100
luxury villas modeled on traditional residences of Vietnam.
Days start with sunrise meditations on property, include daily yoga practice and end with
sumptuous dinners by executive chef Kath
Townsend, who trained under celebrated Australian cookbook author Bill Granger.
Guests can also choose exotic treatments at the award-winning spa or to relax by the resort’s clutch of infinity pools, take a Vietnamese
cooking class or explore the nearby ancient port town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Mecca for tailor-made clothing.
Prices for the workshop start at
US$2,500 per person and include ground transfers from Da Nang International Airport, seven nights
accommodation, daily breakfast, opening and closing gala yoga dinners with special activities, a guided trip to the My Son ruins and all
yoga classes.
