The
Domina Hotel Group is expanding its presence in North and Eastern Europe with the opening of 3 new hotels and
launch of its Domina Prestige brand. Domina Prestige St Petersburg, Domina Hotel & Conference Blijdorp in Rotterdam and Domina Hotel Budapest are all due
to open between Summer 2008 and Spring 2009. The 3 hotels will add to the 6 already existing hotels in the region located in Estonia,
Germany, Latvia, Hungary and Poland.
St Petersburg has the image of being the most Western European styled city of Russia and is referred to as the “Northern Capital” of this
nation. Rotterdam is one of the largest ports in the world, the second city and the industrial heart of the Netherlands and the economic, social and
cultural centre of the Rijnmond (‘Rhine Estuary’) region. Budapest, the capital city of Hungary, has the River Danube flowing through the
city along a stretch of 28km. Its embankments, the Castle District and Andrassy Street have been officially recognized as UNESCO World
Heritage Sites.
Gerhard
Zeilinger, newly appointed Regional Manager North Eastern Europe of the
Group, said, “We are
already present in the area with the Domina Inn brand counting 320 rooms and the Domina Hotel brand currently counting 160 rooms.
These numbers will increase with the 3 new openings adding up to a total of nearly
1,000
rooms.”
Domina Prestige St Petersburg, with a prime location in the city centre, overlooking the beautiful Moika River Embankment on one side and
the Bolshaya Morskaya Street on the other, will open in Autumn 2008. The hotel will have a total of 108 rooms including suites all fully
equipped with air conditioning, minibar, safe, TV and Internet access. Amenities at guests’ disposal include a restaurant, a bar, a meeting
room, a mini Spa and a garage.
Domina Hotel & Conference Blijdorp, surrounded by the green Roel Langerakpark and conveniently located between the Rotterdam
International airport and the city centre, will open in Summer 2008. The
hotel will offer 193 rooms including suites, all fully equipped with air
conditioning, minibar, safe, TV and Internet access. Amenities at guests’ disposal include a restaurant, a bar, 6 meeting rooms holding up to
300 people, an adjacent Spa and Fitness centre and an ample parking.
Domina Hotel Budapest, the second hotel of the
group in this city, opening in Spring 2009, will be situated in the heart of Budapest, at a
walking distance from the most important cultural spots in Pest and 15 minutes by foot from the Danube River. The 206 rooms including
suites will all be fully equipped with air conditioning, minibar, safe, TV and Internet access. Amenities at guests’ disposal include a
restaurant, a bar, 1 meeting room, Gym, Sauna, Turkish bath and a garage.
