Scott Thomson joins Langham Place, Mongkok as Hotel Manager

Mr. Jeffrey van Vorsselen, General Manager of the Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Scott Thomson as Hotel Manager.

Prior to joining Langham Place, Scott was Hotel Manager at The Langham, Auckland. With over 20 years experience within New Zealand hospitality, Scott has worked for various hotels and entertainment establishments in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown which include positions at the Grand Hotels International Group.

As Hotel Manager, Scott is responsible for the day-to-day hotel operations. He will also play an integral role in positioning Langham Place within the Hong Kong market.

The Langham Place Mongkok, Hong Kong rises up 42 levels and comprises 665 spacious hotel rooms and suites all with floor to ceiling windows offering great views of the vibrant city.

All Club L Rooms, Studio Rooms and Suites include complimentary wired and wireless broadband internet access.  All rooms excluding deluxe are equipped with iHome MP3 players and alarm clocks so guests can plug in and wake up to their favourite music.

The Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong is home to Chuan Spa which straddles the top three floors of the hotel and is one of the first luxury spas in Hong Kong to specialize in traditional Chinese medicine while offering all the international treatments and massage guests expect.
