Continental Airlines
is to relocate its flight operations to Terminal 2 at Mexico City International Airport effective
19 February 2008.
“We are pleased to share this new and modern terminal with our SkyTeam partners,” said Carlos Enrique Hernandez, managing director of
Continental Airlines in Mexico. “Our customers will greatly benefit from this relocation since all the SkyTeam partners will be in the same
terminal offering adjacent gates for easy connections, efficient handling and a shared passenger lounge for all its members.”
Continental Airlines
currently offers service to 31 cities in Mexico. The airline operates ten daily flights out of Mexico City: eight to Houston, Texas, and two to Newark/ New York, with modern 737 Next Generation jets,
and more than 70 weekly flights.
Continental’s highly acclaimed Latinization program includes bilingual flight attendants on many flights to Latin America, and bilingual
airport personnel, reservations agents and signage. Spanish-language functions on the continental.com
website which includes flight booking, check-in, seat selection, flight and gate information, and
OnePass frequent flyer program enrollment.
