United Airlines
and MasterCard Worldwide have launched a joint promotion to offer Mileage Plus members bonus miles and free roundtrip
tickets to Southeast Asia.
From now until December 15, 2008, Mileage Plus members purchasing roundtrip tickets on United flights from Hong Kong to the United States
or Canada with their MasterCard cards can earn an extra 6,500 miles for Economy Class and up to 13,000 miles for First and Business Class.
With these bonus miles added on the standard points, members can earn enough mileage to redeem a free roundtrip ticket to one of the
following Southeast Asian destinations: Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Krabi and Ho Chi Minh
City.
The offer is valid on Economy Class (Y, B M, H booking classes), Business Class (C, D booking classes) and First Class (F, A booking classes).
Members are required to register at www.united.com/offer/mpa058 prior to travel. Tickets must be issued
in Hong Kong or Macau before December 15, 2008, and outbound travel must be completed before January 31, 2009. Bonus miles under this
promotion are only offered to each member for up to two times, and are posted 6 to 8 weeks after completion of each qualified trip.
United currently operates daily
direct flights from Hong Kong to four destinations, including Chicago, San Francisco, Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City.
