Michael
Kasch, with over 18 years Food and Beverage experience and 16 years international hospitality experience,
has joined the Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai as the new Executive Assistant Manager. Kasch is no stranger to Dubai having held the Director of Food and Beverage
position for the past six years in both Accor Hotels World Trade Centre and
the Taj Palace Hotel.
Kasch is a German national and was educated in Belgium. Speaking five languages, English, Flemish, German, French and Japanese, Kasch
entered the hospitality industry on the Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise ship as Assistant Restaurant Manager. The following years Kasch
developed his career mainly in Japan in the various F&B departments before joining JW Marriott in Dubai and thus beginning his stay in the
Middle East. Before returning to Dubai, Kasch spent 2 years in Jordan further widening his knowledge and experience in the region.
Kasch will become an integral part of the team and work side by side General Manager, Michael
Nugent. Kasch’s market knowledge and ability to motivate his peers will
prove key in the success of the property and make for an exciting 2008.
