MSC
Cruises’ flagship, the new MSC Fantasia, which joins the MSC Fleet
next week, will be equipped with a 1,615 square meter Aurea Spa, a therapeutic centre with
extensive facilities and a medical crew practicing the most advanced ancient slimming and rejuvenating treatments.
Aurea Spa
will be composed of a Thalassotherapy Room, Thermal Area, Gymnasium and Relaxation Area.
One of the spa’s highlights is Q-Frequency, a machine using radiofrequency and biocompatible energy designed to eliminate not just cellulite,
localised fat deposits and stretch marks, but also acne and aging facial skin.
Thanks to improved blood flow and a reactivated lymphatic system, the fat cells are stimulated to release toxins and excess fluids, restoring the
skin’s natural balance and leaving it toned and glowing.
Also amongst the treatments available is Mya Advance,
an alternative treatment to liposculpture, guarantying immediate
and long-lasting slimming results and anti-cellulite action. Combining the use of medium frequency biocompatible impulses with the effects of
cavitation, this technique stimulates and improves exchange between fat cells and intercellular space to leave you with a newfound
slenderness and improved tissue tonicity.
Within the complex will also be Q-AGE, a wellbeing centre combining new technology with the ancient Balinese art of massage. This peaceful
quarter will focus on deep relaxation and the balancing of the mind and body.
Q-AGE has a vast array of exotic treatments to offer vacationers as the Balinese Aroma to remove toxins, the Bali Sun Rise Lulur to prepare the
skin to sun exposure, or more conventional methods as a Vichy shower for lymphatic drainage, vibromassage to stimulate circulation,
aromatherapy and hydro massage. Q-AGE and the Aurea Spa offer effective thalassotherapy - with evocatively named treatments such as
“Flowers and Sea” and “Sea and Volcanoes” – to regain youthful and toned skin.
The MSC Fantasia,
which weighs 133,500 tons, will be introduced to its family fleet, MSC Cruises, in Naples on December 18th.
It will also house the
MSC Yacht Club - a VIP area with 99 spacious and exquisitely furnished suites, reserved common areas, and a personal butler for exclusive
service.
