The Shangri-La hotels listed among the 91 “Gold List” properties located in
Asia, Australia and Pacific Nations include:
- Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing
- Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong
- Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong
- Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai

The “Gold List” also includes Reserve properties that are worth
highlighting. Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney was named to the Reserve list this

Condé Nast Traveler’s “Gold List” results are based upon the 2007 Readers’
Choice Survey, in which the publication asked respondents to rate hotels
according to various criteria such as service, rooms, design, dining and
location. From the more than 28,000 subscriber responses received, the
publication calculated the average score of each category and tabulated the
overall satisfaction percentage.
