(VML) has appointed Mr. Antonio Ferreira (Mr. Wu Shun-him) as Managing Director, subject to Government approval. Dr. Luís
Nuno Mesquita de Melo, who held the Managing Director position on an interim basis, will be appointed as General Counsel of
VML and Member of the Board of Directors of VML and associated companies, replacing Pedro Branco as General Counsel who has decided to head up his own

Ferreira is the founder of the Wu’s Group, which first started with operations in
Macau and successfully expanded to several countries and
territories, including the United States, Japan, Portugal, Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Ferreira also plays an active role in many
important Macau organizations, including the Macau Chamber of Commerce, Kiang Wu Hospital Charitable Association and the Macau Tung Sin
Tong Charitable Society.
“We are extremely honored and fortunate to have Mr. Ferreira join our company as Managing Director,” said William Weidner, President of Las

Macau, will bring
important insights and perspectives to our on-going developments in
