In recent weeks, crude oil and kerosene prices have again reached a new peak. In response to this development, Lufthansa is adjusting its
fuel surcharge on its flights on domestic and intra-European routes.
The surcharge will
be raised by three euros and will thus amount to 17 euros per flight segment, effective 13
March 2008.
The surcharge on long-haul flights will not be affected by this latest increase and will remain at 77 euros per flight segment.
Airlines
constantly monitors oil prices and make adjustments to the fuel surcharge dependent on further trends in the
price of jet fuel on the spot markets.
