Eastman Kodak Company,
a leading imaging innovator, has awarded Kodak Certified Supplier recognition to
the global corporate travel management company BCD Travel.
Conducted over a six-month period, Kodak’s certification process evaluated BCD Travel’s service efforts in a wide range of categories, including
quality-management systems, quality of products and services, delivery performance, lead-time performance and year-to-year productivity. In
addition to a rigorous self-assessment that required BCD Travel to evaluate its operational processes, the Kodak certification process included
an onsite visit to BCD Travel’s Pittsburgh service center.
The assessment allowed Kodak to evaluate the depth, breadth and maturity level of BCD Travel’s operational management systems related to
the criteria for Kodak Certified Supplier recognition.
“This formal recognition by Kodak is a measure not only of BCD Travel’s extremely high service quality levels but also the consistent delivery of
quality service,” said Juan Perez, vice president of account and operations management for BCD Travel. “The quality certification program is an
objective, quantifiable measurement of performance over time and extremely difficult to achieve. We’re extremely proud to have met Kodak’s
stringent requirements on the first pass.”
