AirAsia launches Mega Sale Promotion

AirAsia has launched a Mega Sale promotion offering special low fares for its domestic, regional and international routes. Some 250,000 seats are available in this promotion from its hubs in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.

Fares are priced as low as RM1 (one way, excluding all taxes, and additional charges) from AirAsia's Kuala Lumpur hub to popular domestic destinations such as Langkawi, Penang, Johor Baharu, Alor Star, Kota Bahru, Terengganu including the newly launched Kuantan route. In addition to that, other international destinations are also offered for RM1 include Singapore, Banda Aceh, Medan, Padang and Palembang.

Some other hot destinations which are priced from RM20 one way include Kuching, Miri, Kota Kinabalu, Sibu, Sandakan, Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, Vientiane, Jakarta, Surabaya and Yogyakarta. Fares to Chiang Mai, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Hanoi, Clark (Manila), Macau, Shenzhen and even the newly launched routes Haikou (Hainan) and are priced from RM70 and Hong Kong from RM150.

And to make the deal even sweeter, the long haul sector to Gold Coast, Australia serviced by AirAsia X is also included in this promotion with fares from RM199.

The Mega Sale promotion is valid for booking between 10 – 22 June 2008 for a travel period between 1 July – 25 September 2008.
