Mr.
Greg Allan has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Singapore Marriott Hotel.
A Kenya born Scotsman, Greg Allan has worked within the hotel industry for more than two decades. The last eleven have been with Marriott
International, with various postings taking him from the United Kingdom, to JW Marriott Dubai, Marriott Hotel Amman, Jordan and a four year
assignment at the Singapore Marriott as Resident Manager.
Prior to returning to Singapore, Greg was General Manager of
the JW Marriott Jakarta.
“I am privileged and excited to re-join the outstanding team at Singapore Marriott. Our commitment is to continue our excellence in hospitality
both in accommodation and food and beverage, in addition to service in the community – which are all the cornerstones of the Marriott
philosophy,” Greg Allan said.
During his career with Marriott, he and hotels under his leadership have won several awards including Manager of the Year, Leadership
Excellence, Food & Beverage Excellence and the Spirit to Serve our Guests Award for JW Marriott Jakarta’s outstanding local community service.
