Emirates
Airline will be holding an Open Day in Singapore to recruit cabin crew candidates on July 14 at the Holiday Inn Atrium (317, Outram Road), Sentosa Room.
Interested candidates should
take along an updated resume, as well as their full-length and passport size photographs in business attire. Short-listed candidates will be informed for a final
round of screenings and interviews.
Dubai-based Emirates has seen a remarkable increase in the number of Singaporean cabin crew in
recent years – more than four-fold in three years, and this trend looks set to continue with the
airline regularly recruiting from Singapore.
Singaporean Sumitra Nathan Raj has been with Emirates for more than three years. She said, "I have
always wanted to be an air stewardess since the days of travelling with my family. As an Emirates cabin crew member, I'm based in Dubai,

Emirates
cabin crew are entitled to an attractive benefits package, including a three-year renewable contract; a tax-free starting salary of approximately
US$1,000 plus flying pay of US$800 to US$900 per month; comprehensive medical coverage; free duty transport; end-of-service benefits;
