World-renowned three star Michelin chef Thomas Keller,
is to stage his Asian culinary debut at The Oriental, Bangkok’s Le Normandie, from 21-25
March.
Widely regarded as one of America’s finest chefs, Thomas Keller is chef and owner of The French Laundry, Bouchon, and Bouchon Bakery, in
Yountville, California; Bouchon in Las Vegas, Nevada; and Per Se and Bouchon Bakery at The Time Warner Center in New York City. Most
recently, the French-based Michelin Guide bestowed “three stars” to The French Laundry and “one star” to Bouchon in Yountville. In 2005, Per
Se also received a three-star rating, making Keller the first and only American born chef to have two three star restaurants since the guide’s
inception in 1900.
Keller will take guests on a daily culinary adventure at The Oriental’s celebrated Le Normandie, where his sophisticated contemporary American
cuisine with classic French influences, authoritatively seasoned, artfully presented and always surprising, will be available for both lunch and
dinner.
Le Normandie is one of Asia’s most renowned French restaurants, and hosts some of France’s most highly trained master chefs on a regular
basis. Culinary masters who have graced the restaurant include: Guy Martin, Pierre Gagnaire, Joël Robuchon, Frédy Girardet, Anne-Sophie
Pic, Alain Passard, Marc Haeberlin and Alain Senderens to mention few.
