Etihad
Airways has increased its Abu Dhabi to Sydney services from three flights-a-week to
a daily service.
The flights to Australia were launched on 26 March and since then the Sydney route has established
itself quickly as one of Etihad’s most popular destinations. Following the success of the Sydney service
the airline is examining several potential new destinations in
Australia.
James Hogan, Etihad Airways’ chief executive,
said, “Prior to the launch of the Abu Dhabi to Sydney service we knew it would be popular with business and leisure customers, but the demand we have
received has outstripped all expectations.”
The
Etihad flight EY450
departs daily from Abu Dhabi at 10.10am, arriving in Sydney at 6.15am the following day.
The return service EY451 departs from Sydney at 2.35pm, arriving Abu Dhabi 11:25pm. All times are local.
