(HPL) has appointed Darryl Marsden, as General Manager of the Hard Rock
Hotel Bali.
Darryl joined
the Hard Rock Hotel Bali in July 2000 as Director of Food & Beverage and in November 2001 was appointed as the Regional Director of
Food and Beverage for Hard Rock Hotels, Asia. Darryl was further promoted to Executive Assistant Manager, in charge of hotel operations, in
February 2003.
He
has over 26 years of extensive hospitality experience, holding previous senior positions as Director of Food &
Beverage, Palace of the Golden Horses Malaysia, Director of Food and Beverage Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and Executive
Chef of Grand Wailea Resort, Hotel & Spa, Hawaii, USA.
Darryl began his career as an apprentice chef at the Crest International Hotel, Australia and in 1996, Darryl was selected as “One of The World’s
Best Chefs” by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
