The
Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) has officially launched a complete event planning
service, the Melbourne Meeting + Events Service (MM+ES) incorporating regional
Victoria.
For events with fewer than 300 delegates, MM+ES is a one-stop-shop for meeting planners. Many convention bureaus offer a venue finding
service, but in addition to advice on venue and accommodation, MCVB’s expert staff
help plan the entire event, from catering and
entertainment, to supplying quotes from Melbourne’s premier business events industry.
An evolution from MCVB’s Venue Menu event planning service, MM+ES now incorporates event planning in regional Victoria as well as
Metropolitan Melbourne.
"It was clear from the types of requests we were receiving that many clients required a lot more support than venue finding. We were also
getting more requests for events in regional Victoria and for ‘something different’, which is where we can definitely add value," said Nikki
Seymour-Smith, General Manager Marketing + Communications at MCVB.
