has appointed Ms. Brenda Ramen as Director of Spas.
GHM
manages a portfolio of three brands including highly regarded properties
such as The Datai in Langkawi, The Setai in Miami, The Chedi hotels and The Serai hotels worldwide.
'The Spa' at GHM hotels is dedicated to the restoration of strength and beauty achieved through
balance of body, mind and spirit following the healing traditions of the East, featuring an exclusive
selection of beauty and body elixir rituals.
In her position as Director of Spas, Ms. Ramen will oversee and expand existing spa facilities within
GHM hotels. Ms. Ramen will also helm the spa development of upcoming GHM
hotels and will undertake an extensive strategic review of 'The Spa' to identify areas of growth and opportunity.
Working closely with her team across 15 properties in nine countries,
Ms. Ramen will also develop a structured training and development
programme, while devising robust strategies for marketing and delivery.
A successful professional with over 16 years of experience directing luxury hotel spas, Ms. Ramen's abilities span across spa management,
design and concept development, marketing, branding and retail. She has been involved in the spa industry since 1991 and is qualified and
experienced in Aromatherapy, Ayurveda and various styles of therapeutic bodywork.
