Food
& Hotel Vietnam2007 (FHV2007), the fourth International Food & Drinks, Hotel, Restaurant, Bakery & Foodservice Equipment, Supplies
& Services Exhibition and Conference which spreads across three halls and 7,000 square metres of exhibition space at the Ho Chi Minh
International Exhibition and Convention Centre (HIECC) opened Tuesday,
running until 1 November 2007.
FHV2007 hosts 240 exhibiting companies from 22 country/regions, including Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong
SAR, Singapore, Spain, Vietnam and more. Also at the exhibition are group pavilions from South Australia, Belgium, France, Germany,
Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States of America.
Some of the prominent Vietnamese companies exhibiting at the show include Annam Fine Food Company, Annam Hospitality Equipment,
Mai Hoa Son, Orana Vietnam and more.
FHV2007
provides a single platform for food retailers, suppliers, distributors and manufacturers, institutional caterers, consultants and management
team of hospitality outlets, to source for the latest high quality hospitality products, services, equipment and technological solutions.
Adding to the excitement of the show is the second Vietnam Culinary Challenge organised by the Saigon Professional Chefs’ Club. The
Vietnam Culinary Challenge provides a platform for the promotion of culinary standards in Vietnam and presents an opportunity
for culinary professionals from Vietnam and the region keen to gain valuable experience and acquire recognition within the regional culinary
industry. Visitors will be able to feast their eyes on top Vietnamese chefs showcasing their artistic culinary skills in modern cuisine, witness
displays of culinary art, fruit and vegetable carvings, as well as a cooking extravaganza.
Visitors can also benefit from the FHV2007 Food Safety Seminar that will address food safety and hygiene issues. Industry experts will engage in-depth discussions and share their insights and
knowledge with delegates from the hotel, food manufacturing and retail supermarket sectors.
