Galileo, part of Travelport GDS, has
extended its sales and support team in the Middle East with the appointment of Shyla Stephen as
Product Manager for the region, for Subscriber Sales.
Shyla has worked in the travel industry for over 17 years, seven years with DNATA followed by 10 years with our NDC in
UAE.
Rabih Saab, Galileo’s vice-president for the Middle East and Africa,
said, “The Middle East is experiencing a dramatic boom at
present in terms of growth of the travel market, with corporate and consumer interest increasing year on year. To be able to service this
demand it was necessary for Galileo to expand with a bigger team. I am sure that Shyla will make a huge difference as her experience will
