ExecuJet
has welcomed the first Bombardier Learjet 60 XR to obtain European registration
into its charter fleet. The high performance, midsize business jet received European EASA certification
last week at ExecuJet’s facilities at Roskilde, Denmark. The aircraft’s owners have
opted to offer it for charter through ExecuJet’s charter management business.
The Learjet 60XR, in service since July this year, joins a 15-strong fleet of Challenger
850, Learjet 40 XR, Global Express XRS, Beechcraft
Hawker 800/800XP and Embraer Legacy aircraft regularly operating out of the Danish airport.
“This latest addition to the Learjet aircraft family is going to be a popular addition to the charter fleet,”
said Peter Hartmann, ExecuJet
Europe’s Managing Director.
As well as being extremely fast and certificated to fly up to FL 510, the aircraft offers enhanced comfort,
achieved through a restyled interior in the stand up cabin, which features LED lighting throughout.
The 7-seat aircraft features a larger galley, a brighter and more spacious lavatory, a new cabin management system with three inch (7.6 cm)
LCD control modules and ports for laptops, MP3 players and other audio/video equipment.
