FCm Travel Solutions has appointed Dan O'Brien, the visionary driving force behind FCm's
globalisation, as its new President North America to manage the long-term growth and consolidation
of FCm in the region.
Mr O'Brien
has more than 13 years' experience in travel management through a range of roles with FCm's parent company, Flight Centre Limited
(FCL). Most notably, he spearheaded the rise and success of FCL's original business travel flagship,
Corporate Traveller. Mr O'Brien's vision of globalising the corporate business led to Corporate
Traveller's amalgamation with other corporate brands to form the worldwide FCm Travel Solutions
group.
"Dan's excellent leadership will ensure a clear direction for FCm's future growth in North America, which has accelerated during the past six
months in particular," said FCm Travel Solutions' global executive general manager, Anthony
Grigson.
"Following our recent acquisitions of Boston and Chicago based travel companies, we now have a solid presence in North America and our
business will be in a strong growth phase over the next few years," he
added. "Dan will effectively guide this critical phase, with an aim to position FCm as the travel manager of choice for local companies, as well as
foreign companies doing business in North America."
