Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Wednesday, 26 September 2007

Thai Airways International launched internet check-in services, allowing more flexibility and convenience to passengers. Currently, the iCheck-in service is available for both ROP members and Thai's eCustomers who can receive usable member IDs and passwords after application.

Online check-in service provides customers more convenience for both domestic and international Thai flights departing from various destinations including connecting flights. The iCheck-in service is available 24 hours a day, and even 2 hours before flight departure for all types of tickets.

Passengers need to have a confirmed reservation with no more than 4 passengers in the same reservation code. It is necessary to know the reservation code or PNR to use iCheck-in. Users are also allowed to edit their frequent flyer numbers, change seating arrangements, confirm check-in and cancel check-in. Boarding passes and baggage check-in will be organized for passengers by check-in staff at the airport.

Thai's Internet Check-in was first implemented in June 2005 to ROP Members. The iCheck-in service is a new choice that provides more convenience for passengers to check-in and select seats online, which is less time consuming for passengers.
