the hotel as well as visit Guangzhou’s food markets and some of the city’s great restaurants.
Jean-Georges is one of the most famous chefs in the world and has developed and owns numerous
world-class restaurants, including the highly successful Spice Market restaurant in New York City,
Vong’s Thai Kitchen, Café Martinique, Lagoon, plus a new soon to-be-developed multi-unit
Jean-Georges restaurant concept.
He currently holds an unprecedented total of 20 stars from The New York Times for his seven New
York City restaurants, while his Jean-Georges restaurant was recently awarded three coveted
Michelin stars.
Jean-Georges’ mission at The Westin Guangzhou will be to determine how to translate the Westin brand’s core values
to memorable dining experiences.
The Westin Guangzhou features 5 restaurants: Hong Mian, a contemporary interpretation of popular and traditional Cantonese dishes; Qba

including teas, fresh juices, coffees and cocktails
accompanied by sweet and salty, natural light nibbles in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
