Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok to open Fourth Quarter 2007

Final preparations are underway for the launch of the Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok during the last quarter of 2007.

The 95-room hotel is located in Rachadapisek Road, just off the Sukhumvit-Asoke junction. The hotel is situated within walking distance of some of Bangkok's best shopping, dining and entertainment outlets as well as easy access to both the sky-train and underground rail networks.

General manager, Magne Hansen said, "We are confident that business travellers and tourists will be highly impressed with the total concept, facilities and service at this exciting new addition to the Park Plaza portfolio."

Mr Hansen highlighted that connectivity would be the key to the hotel's success. "We aim to impress our guests with the digital technology in the guest rooms and by the physical location the new Park Plaza offers guests in the centre of Bangkok."

The Park Plaza Sukhumvit Bangkok is owned by Asoke Park Co Ltd and managed by Carlson Hotels Worldwide - Asia Pacific.
