To celebrate the festive season,
the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is offering an array of festive treats
with decadent
hampers, which range from HK$ 2,580 to HK$ 5,880.
Each hamper
features delicious combinations of the highest quality festive goodies, the ‘Deluxe Gourmet’,
‘Gourmet’, ‘East & West’ and ‘Traditional’ hampers have been created by the hotel’s
applauded Executive Chef, Uwe Opocensky. Items include Chateau Liverson – Haut
Medoc 2003, Christmas cakes, duck rillet, Champagne truffles, cheeses and foie gras plus
every hamper contains mulled wine spices and a jar of the hotel’s renowned rose petal
jam – something for every epicure.
To commemorate its first Christmas since opening, The Mandarin Spa has created the
‘Festive Harmony’ hamper to encourage inner harmony and assist with relaxing before,
during and after the whirlwind seasonal celebrations. This rejuvenating hamper includes
items such as a luxurious salt scrub, body oil and scented candle form The Mandarin
Spa’s signature range as well as a towelling robe, selection of teas and for the ultimate
tailor-made treat, a gift voucher for two hours of ‘Time.’
Mandarin Hampers can be ordered at the Mandarin Hamper Shop, which will be located
in the East Lobby of the hotel from 1 December throughout the festive period.
Meanwhile, Christmas celebrations will take on an innovative but traditional feel, with
each of the hotel’s acclaimed and award-winning restaurants and bars offering a special
Christmas calendar throughout the sesaon. There will also be Christmas Carols in the
Lobby on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day between 4:00pm and 6.00pm and ballet
performances by the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet on 21 December and Christmas Eve
between 4.00pm and 6.45pm.
For Christmas Eve romance with stunning views, Pierre and The Mandarin Grill will
serve a festive six-course dinner and eight-course dinner respectively at
HK$ 2,288 per person.
The Clipper Lounge is
a perfect family gathering place on Christmas Day with an
international buffet, which will feature an array of culinary delights during
both lunch and dinner. Santa Claus will be handing out gifts to the children, ensuring a
memorable experience for all the family. Buffet prices are HK$ 638 for adults and
HK$ 298 for children at both lunch and dinner.
