International fragrances and cosmetics brands will be even better represented than usual at the 12th TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition
which will take place in the Singapore Suntec Centre from 15th to 18th May 2007.
For the first time virtually every major international beauty company in the world will be present at the annual travel retail and duty
free trade exhibition, providing an even more irresistible lure for buyers from Asia, Oceania and around the globe.
Among the prestigious brands which will be present are Beauté Prestige International, Parfums Christian Dior, Clarins Group,
Coty Prestige, Estée Lauder International, Parfums Givenchy, Guerlain, Inter Parfums, Kenzo Parfums, L'Oréal, P&G Prestige
Products, Puig Beauty & Fashion Group, Shiseido and YSL Beauté.
These brands will be exhibiting alongside many of the most famous names in the international fashion, spirits and wines,
confectionery, tobacco, jewellery and luxury goods industries as well as some aspiring brands which are less familiar
outside Asia.
TFWA Asia Pacific is a unique forum at which retailers from airports, airlines, cruiselines, ferries and downtown duty free stores
can do business with brands from all over the world.
The event will kick off on Tuesday 15th May with a business conference and a series of important and relevant workshops to
focus on issues of significance in the Asia Pacific region, such as the immense market potential in India and the effects of security
threats on the travel retail trade in Asia.
Placing the consumer at the heart of an e-tailing strategy will be the focus of a special breakfast workshop on Wednesday 16th
and at lunchtime, key strategies for boosting in-flight sales will be analysed at a workshop aimed at airlines. The spotlight
switches back to India and also to China, another powerhouse of growth, on Thursday 17th with the results of the latest consumer
research conducted by TFWA’s research partners, ACNielsen.
Online registration for TFWA Asia Pacific 2007 opens on 9th March.
TFWA Asia Pacific will be preceded by the Gate One international conference on Monday 14th May in Singapore Suntec at which
eminent speakers will address issues related to the development of non-aeronautical revenues at airports worldwide – an event
not to be missed by any executive involved in commercial activities at airports.
