Andrew Hoy has been appointed
Executive Director, Group Sales of ExecuJet Aviation Group as the company looks
forward to a significant expansion in 2008.
Andrew joins from Skyjet International, Bombardier’s
successful block charter ownership program. As one of three Board Directors,
he was responsible for the strategic growth of the company and the close management of a large team of operations staff across three
continents, as well as being directly involved in managing client relationships and closing a number of aircraft sales transactions to Skyjet
clients.
In his new role at ExecuJet he will be based in London, regularly visiting the various ExecuJet regions including its Head Office in Zurich
Airport, where he will report to Group Managing Director Gerrit Basson.
Andrew
has a wealth of experience not only in customer service and day to day dispatch operations, but also from the front
line. A former commercial helicopter and fixed wing pilot, Andrew has logged a total of over 3,000 flying hours with more than 2,000 on jets,
including flying Bombardier Learjet 45 aircraft until diabetes abruptly ended his flying career.
ExecuJet, with its 750-strong workforce is one of the largest business aircraft operators, maintaining seven Air Operators Certificates
(AOC), three of which are in Europe, and providing aircraft management, charter, maintenance handling and general FBO services. ExecuJet
manages a fleet 110 business aircraft from its various dispatch centres across multiple continents.

Andrew Hoy. “The Bombardier business aircraft line has had a terrific year and the Grob Aerospace spn light jet is on course for certification
next year. I will also be closely involved with the new Aerion Supersonic business jet for which ExecuJet has started taking orders.”
