Pacific Food Expo 2007 (APFE) this November returns to Singapore for another year as one of Asia’s largest scale food
and beverage events with both local and overseas exhibitors exhibiting their quality produce for consumers and
the trade at Singapore’s largest MICE venue.
Running from 16 to 20 November 2007 at the Singapore Expo Hall 5,
APFE is expected to attract over 500,000 visitors.This year, visitors will be treated to
product exhibitions from China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia,
Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
There will be about 150 exhibitors presenting the most colourful showcase with the widest selections.
Popular household brands have joined efforts with manufacturers. Government agencies International Enterprise Singapore, SPRING
Singapore and the Agri-food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) will also be present.
Taking the level of support further will be the Health Promotion Board (Singapore) which will be realizing their vision of promoting fitness
and health by taking up a pavilion with merchants introducing healthier alternatives into the marketplace under the Healthier Choice Symbol.
To encourage visitors to make informed food choices, the Board will be giving away limited editions recipes calendar booklets.
Many
activities have been planned for the exhibition. Visitors can expect daily appearances by popular radio DJs, TV artistes as well
as exciting acts by local and overseas entertainers. Plenty of games, contests, food samplings, cooking demonstrations, health talks as
well as an abundance of free gifts to be given away will all help to
ensure a good time for all.
