Yoga Holidays available at Phuket's Indigo Pearl Resort

The Indigo Pearl resort in Phuket is offering a series of 7-day and 3-day Hip Yoga Holidays beginning on August 5, 2007.

Each seven day, six night holiday features one or two daily Yoga sessions led by a well-known international Yoga instructor who will visit Phuket to share their knowledge. Each holiday highlights a unique optional theme including hypnosis, hip-hop workshop and even scuba diving.

The accommodation in a luxurious Plantation Villa, with king-sized bed, includes daily breakfast at Tin Mine restaurant and return airport transfers as well as a sixty minute Thai massage and herbal elixir at Indigo Pearls spa. The prices range between THB 47,000 (approx. US$1,345) and THB 68,000 (approx. US$ 1,945) depending on the time of year, theme and instructor.

The charge for a second Yogi sharing the Plantation Pavillion ranges from THB 8,000 net (approx. US$ 230) to THB 16,000 net (approx. US$ 460).

The Yoga holiday weeks scheduled so far are August 5-11; September 2-8; September 23-29; October 7-13; November 4-10; December 2-8 and February 3-9, 2008.

The weekend three day, two night break in a Plantation Villa, with daily breakfast and return airport transfers, is headlined by two morning and two sunset Yoga classes and priced between THB 15,000 (approx. US$ 450) and THB 26,000 (approx. US$745). The cost for a second Yogi sharing the villa ranges from THB 4,500 net (US$ 130) to THB 5,000 (approx. US$143).

The Yoga holiday weekends scheduled so far are August 31- September 2; September 28-30; October 26-28; November 31 - December 2 and January 25-27, 2008.

The Yoga sessions will be organised by consultant Roxanne de Guzman, a native Canadian who has lived in Toronto, Bermuda, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hawaiii, UK, Hong Kong and now Thailand. She has taken part in over a dozen long-stay yoga studies in India,  including an intensive lyengar Yoga teacher training course at the foothills of the Himilayas and participated in Yoga workshops and classes in New Delhi, Sri Lanka, Frankfurt, Koln, Madrid and LA. This has allowed her to deepen her personal practice while training in many schools of Yoga including Hatha & lyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara and Jivamukti. With this background, Roxanne has been able to invite some of the top instructors and practitioners from around the world to share their teachings.
