Despite
opening just two years ago, the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre in Canada
has been named as the “Number One Top Resort in Canada” in the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2007 Readers’ Choice Survey.
With a record number of travelers of over 28,000 voting this year, Condé Nast Traveler celebrates the 20th annual Readers' Choice Awards.
Another unique attribute to this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards is that all three of the top resorts in Canada are in British Columbia. In
addition to Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre, Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino and Four Seasons Resort Whistler ranked number two and three,
respectively.
Jim Douglas, General Manager for Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre and Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside
said, “It is a great honor to be amongst the best properties in the world and we are certainly proud to be recognized as the best resort in Canada. In addition to our
superior location, accommodations and amenities, it is the gracious team of associates that make our guests feel welcome when they visit.”
