Travel News Asia Friday, 17 August 2007

For a limited time only, United Airlines is offering a special promotional fare from Bangkok to Tokyo-Narita of just 9,500 Baht round trip.

The special fare opens the door to Japan in a season that many visitors think is the most beautiful. “With the vivid colors of autumn just around the corner, now is the perfect time to visit Japan,” said Eric Wilson, United’s general manager-Thailand. “Japan makes a great vacation choice for residents of Thailand who are now beginning to think about their October holiday plans.”

The special United Economy class fare is valid for travel commencing August 27, 2007. Return travel must be completed by November 15, 2007.

United serves Tokyo’s Narita International Airport from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport with a daily departure at 06:50 that lands at 15:00. The return flight departs 18:30, allowing travelers to make the most of their last day, and arrives back in Bangkok at 23:10.

The offer is valid on a pre-determined capacity controlled W inventory which may not be available on all dates or flights. The fare requires a 3-day advance purchase and while outbound travel is permitted between August 27 and October 31, 2007, inbound travel must be completed by November 15, 2007. Thailand International Passenger Service Charge of THB 700, Japan Passenger Facilities Charge of JPY 2,040 and fuel surcharge of US$ 144 are additional, all of which are assessed at time of ticket issue. Other terms and conditions may apply.
