Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai launches Opening Experience Promotion

The Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai which opened its doors to the public in July 2007, is offering a special Opening Experience room rate valid until August 31st 2007. The Opening Experience Promotion is offering guests room rates of RMB688 net per night including complimentary welcome fruits, complimentary early check-in and late check-out, complimentary internet access throughout the hotel and free use of the fitness centre.

The Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai is conveniently located in the centre of the business district of Hongqiao. The hotel has 496 elegant rooms and suites with spacious living areas and apartment style in-room facilities alongside excellent function rooms and leisure facilities, including a fitness centre, making it an ideal location to explore Shanghai whether on a business trip or family vacation.

To complement the soft opening period the hotel's two restaurants, Panini's and Asiatique will be offering promotions for guests and visitors alike to enjoy.

Panini's serves up healthy food including Japanese Sushi, a selection of Asian Noodle dishes, salads and fresh Italian Panini bread. Valid until August 31, from Monday to Friday, Panini is offering special daily lunches at RMB12 and for those spending over RMB50, there will be one complimentary cappuccino.

Asiatique is The Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai's Asian inspired restaurant is offering a delicious BBQ lunch buffet including salad and desserts and unlimited complimentary bamboo tea for RMB 48 plus 15% surcharge during this promotion season. In the evenings Asiatique offers a nightly buffet dinner including delicacies such as Alaskan Crab, Scallops, Fresh Oysters, King Prawn and many other dishes. The dinner buffet is priced at RMB168 plus 15% surcharge per person.

The Stir and Shake Bar at the Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai has an extensive cocktail menu including a wide selection of Martini's. To  entertain guests, the bar offers nightly entertainment which varies throughout the week including juggling shows, Mexican Evenings and Latin Cocktail Parties.

From September 1st through November 30th, The Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai is offering a special rate of RMB998 per room per night.
