Thai
Airways International and Amadeus are co-sponsoring this years French
Cultural Festival (La Fête 2007) to be held in Bangkok, Thailand in June.
Now
in its fourth consecutive year, the month-long La Fête 2007 (6-28
June); which features cinema, contemporary art, culinary arts, design,
drawing, electronic music and a perfume exhibition, promotes French
culture in Thailand.
“La
Fête has firmly established itself as a key Franco-Thai cultural event
and a highlight in Bangkok’s annual calendar. Thai Airways and Amadeus
have a longstanding partnership, and share a common interest in bringing
this European cultural experience to Thailand,” said Khun Teerapol
Chotichanapibal, Thai Airways' Vice President of Sales and Distribution.
David
Brett, President of Amadeus Asia Pacific added, “Over the past twenty
years, Amadeus has grown from a GDS company founded in Europe to a
leading technology partner for travel and tourism practitioners
worldwide. However, we still have strong ties to our headquarters in
Europe and are delighted to be able to support La Fête 2007 to bring a
touch of France to Thailand.”
